Since its foundation, the Euroimmun Italy Laboratory has operated according to the highest quality standards, as demonstrated by its ISO 9001 certification, which has long confirmed the robustness of our management system. In 25th of June 2025, we have taken another significant step forward by obtaining ISO 15189 accreditation, an international recognition that certifies specific technical competence in the field of medical diagnostics. This accreditation represents one of the most important global marks of quality and reliability for medical laboratories.
The Euroimmun Italy Laboratory has chosen to pursue accreditation under the “flexible scope” model, which accredits diagnostic methodologies rather than individual tests, ensuring greater agility in the introduction of new accredited assays. We have therefore selected the diagnostic techniques most relevant to our daily workflows — including indirect immunofluorescence (IFA) on tissues and cells, ELISA, and immunoblot — primarily applied in the fields of autoimmunity and neurology.
Today, the Euroimmun Italy Laboratory offers around fifty accredited assays, the complete list of which is available both on the official Accredia website and within this site.
This result marks the beginning of a progressive expansion of our accredited diagnostic portfolio, with a particular focus on the area of neurology, to provide patients and healthcare professionals with increasingly reliable, innovative diagnostic tools aligned with European and international standards.
